Domestic Violence Action Coalition

Organized in 2008 the Covina Woman’s Club Domestic Violence Action Coalition (DVAC) brings community organizations together to provide support to victims and survivors of domestic violence, child abuse and elder abuse. What began as a small local community organization to honor the life of Monica Thomas, a victim of domestic violence, has grown to over 120 members representing 40 agencies. Members meet once a month planning and implementing programs to address the issues of violence in their communities.
